I can't believe i have not blogged for A YEAR already...hahahaha...
So many things have happened, i don't know where to begin....

I've met new people, I've done so many new things, I've bought most of the things that i've wished for and then its 2011.... Time to list down more new things to achieve...

I've been so caught up with work lately that i have not been able to update my almost-dead blog... I'm so sorry dear blog... Anyway, i've been feeling proud of myself because i have stopped biting my nails and they are growing again! Hehehee..i think i can probably go for manicure next month....

Just to update you all, i'm still working at Fort Canning Park as an RLC and still staying at Commonwealth Dr... I'm quite surprised at myself for being able to stay in this line for 1 year already and i'm enjoying it... Maybe i am fated to be in this line....

....it has been a while and now i'm thinking of what to post inside my blog....hahahaha...

Ok.. I am so happy right now because I have just watched Valentine's Day!! Wuuhooo.... And i have to say I did not regret watching it..... And for the record, tonight was my 3rd movie this month.... Kekekekeke...

So let me recap a little... I watched 14 Blades a few weeks ago with 1 of my bros only because I cannot not watch the movie... I mean, as I've mentioned in the previous post, all the hunks that I like are in the movie... of course I had to watch it, although the storyline was kind of short, but I did like the action scenes...

So my 2nd movie was Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief... Watched it with both my bros So I also thought that maybe I really shouldn't miss this because I love reading about greek mythology and also about the 12 olympians and all...... So it was a really nice movie and it's gotten me even more engrossed about greek mythology....

And finally tonight, my 3rd movie, which was Valentine's Day, watched it with my youngest bro.. Reason for me to MUST watch it?? Because all the stars are in it man! Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Queen Latifah, Patrick Dempsey!(Dr McDreamy much!!), Eric Dane!!(Dr McSteamy much!), Jessica Biel and Jamie Foxx..... need i say more?? It was kind of a funny movie, yet it tells stories of different couples and what happened to them on valentine's day... I love the couple AnneHathaway-TopherGrace... They make such a cute couple in the movie.... My bro described them as Princess Diaries falls in love with Venom in Spiderman... hahahaha...

But anyway I give Valentine's Day 5/5 stars.... Its not your average chick-flick movie but it will give you a good laugh and good learning points about love.... hee.

So I met up with my bro, Rainey, at my workplace and we went to ION because I needed to cash out my paycheck.. Then we had dinner at BK, walked around for a while... Then both of us decided that since its a Saturday, why not catch a movie.. And I remembered that 14 Blades just came out and it had all the good-looking hunks that I adore!! Wu Chun, Qi Yu Wu, Donnie Yen.... Haiz...

We got the 2130hrs tickets to 14 Blades, so in the mean time, we walked around Isetan... We saw this really cool and durable backpack, perfect for our youngest bro, since he's going to start Poly soon and might need a good bag..... But we didn't buy it immediately, because we are still going to look around for better ones...

So back to the movie, I was kind of surprised it had some funny scenes.. I thought Wu Chun was a little stiff in his acting, but he still looked great.....heeheehee.... Donnie Yen was as usual, looking as cool as ever with his fighting skills and being the lead actor... Qi Yu Wu did a great job, although I think he doesn't really suit being the bad guy, but he still looks great.....

For today, I just went out for a while with my bro again... Went to Holland V to get this bag that I saw previously, and I was glad they still had it.... *Yay, I got a new bag!* Then we went to Queensway Shopping Ctr, walked around, and I got for my bro this cute backpack that actually glows in the dark.... kinda cool..... And you can't imagine how packed it was at Queensway... People were like rushing to get new clothes for CNY... hahahahha....

*P.S. I still have yet to get the BSB concert tickets because I don't know who's going to go with me!!!! Can anyone from the Bimbo Squad please reply my messages.... Thank you. XD*

Well, let me just update you on what has been happening in my life...

Work has been normal, only until recently when i've been ordered to start improving on the maintenance and planting plants that totaled up to more than 1500nos, in less than a month.... One of my colleagues has resign and his last day is end of this week, so had dinner with him and another 2 guys, also colleagues, for a farewell dinner.... Hehehe... They had initially wanted to eat at Seoul Garden, but we ended up at Thai Express instead... no biggie because i thought the food was nicer at Thai Express....

I don't have any confirmed plans yet on what i'll be doing on CNY...Probably i'll go to sentosa for tanning (the colour of my legs are fairer than my arms.. damn)... I'm confirmed to go to the BSB concert on 28 Feb... Found out from a friend that The Fray is coming in March, but i'm not sure if i'm going depending on the ticket price.... My cousin's wedding persandingan will be in April if i'm not wrong, so i will have to go shopping soon to get a really, really nice kebaya to wear on that day...

I think my skin has gotten even darker even though i put on sunblock... I can't tell if i've gained or lose weight, and i don't want to know... My hair's a little longer and i'm still biting my nails..... hee.

haiz... Today was the last day that my right-hand man is working... Although he will be back working here in 3 weeks, its still one worker short... He's one of my workers that i can trust to do work properly and efficiently, and he's skillful too... Oh and he's the one worker that i love 'bullying'... hahaha...*i like throwing saga seeds at him..* Man i'm going to miss that idiot... I actually thought of locking him up in the store so that he can't go back, but hahaha, too bad i'm not like that...

So anyway, work was okay... I just got a new project today, from a site meeting, which will require A LOT OF MAINTENANCE work... If i'm not wrong, it going to start next week or something.. I'm not really sure because its still not confirmed if there's going to be any other removal of plants there.. If you're wondering what the hell i'm talking about, FCP had just taken over the River Valley Swimming Pool and there's going to be work order to maintain it... *The Baphia really scares me..* The place looks so old school and i can bet there's going to be snakes or bee hives or wasps hidden somewhere in the bushes that the workers and i have to take extra precaution of... so in conclusion, work is just the usual......hee.

By the way, I love these 2 dresses that i recently bought at Outfitter Girls... it was on sale and i totally loved them... I am so going to buy some more next month.....

I just got home and all i can think of right now is to go to sleep... So I met up with Daddy at Farrer Park station, where he's going to help me get a handphone. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the handphone that I wanted, where were either the Samsung Jet or Samsung Pixon 12 or LG Chocolate BL40.....but its ok... Instead i'm giving the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music a try... Online reviews gave it an average of 7/10 stars... Let's just see how it goes...

Right now, my whole house is filled with the 'fragrance' coming from the blooming flowers of Alstonia, and omg, i can't take it.. :P This odour kind of reminds me of a smell of a particular pesticide, i just can't remember which....

Anyways, i was a little frustrated yesterday, I couldn't remember why, but after work, I vented my frustrations by going shopping at Plaza Singapura! Hahaha.... I got for myself 2 dresses from Outfitter Girls, which were on sale by the way, and got some things from Cotton on Body.... Although it's not much, it did relieve my frustrations a bit because it gives me this particular feeling from buying things using my own hard-earned
money....

I sprayed a lot of insecticides and fungicides today... Using Rogor for some palms which were having some yellowing at the fronds tips, white summer oil on the Neem tree and Buah Keluak trees, and some more spraying to kill mozzie breeding around the park..... Fuuu.... I feel so much cleaner and safer now that i have taken shower.... Oh yea, rogor smells awful man! It smells even worse than Ammonia..

Hey hey!! Happy New Year Everyone!!!

2009 has been ok for me... I did went through some ups and downs, but thankfully, I've survived 2009, and is up and loaded for what 2010 has in store for me.....

Yesterday was the last day of 2009 and also the last day of my 3-month working probation.. Soon one of the park officers will give an evaluation of my progress to my boss, and my boss will determine whether or not I'm eligible for any increment *ehem..* and confirm my job as a Horticulturist in the company.... I'm so nervous and excited at the same time, i could almost get a nosebleed....

My life has been fairly stable since I've gotten a job and I can somehow manage to support myself a little... I've yet to get a new handphone because this current one has been giving me the signs that I have to get a new one.... and the one that I really want to get is the LG Chocolate BL40.... *aaaaahhhhhhhhhh* It looks totally cute!! And it totally reminds me of the song Chocolate Love by Girls Generation and F(x) to promote the handphone.... "i call, i call it chocolate love.. noreul wonhae gajillae, dalkom dalkom chocolate love..." hehehehehe.... I hope i'll be able to afford it soon....

OMG!! I just watched the repeat of IRIS episode 14 and 15 on KBSWorld, and it had this scene of T.O.P kissing the girl! T.O.P is so hot! And i have got to say, it was REAL nice..... T.O.P, aka Choi Seung-hyun plays Vick, as assassin for the organization IRIS, and a real top-notch one at that.. The girl, who he kissed, Hyeon Junie, plays Yang Mi-jeong, a genius computer programmer for NSS. If i'm not wrong they both met when she was dancing in a club to de-stress herself. She then got into a little trouble, when Vick, who has been watching her all along, comes in and saved her.. I don't really know if they met again after this episode, but the latest i've watched now is that Vick calls her to meet up...

They met on some highway, he didn't utter a word, looked at her and suddenly kissed her. Haiz.... the next scene then showed both of them in a house, probably his; he offered coffee, she hugged and kissed him.......... haiz................... *and he looks like a good kisser....hehe* In the show, he actually has this mysterious, unpredictable look, which is perfect to make him look like an assassin. It's like when you see him in the show, you can't get enough of looking at him and just have this feeling of wanting to know what he's going to do next......

I can't take it! T.O.P is just tooo.............!! *Sue, now i know what you're talking about! He's like totally hot!* LOL

So if everyone has noticed from my FB status, I was really happy because a friend of mine, a chef, gave me a big box of chocolate truffles that he made! WOW. I mean being someone who LOVES CHOCOLATE, it has got to be one of the best things that i have ever received. Its chocolate ganache coated with dark chocolate!

Ever since i started working in FCP as an RLC, i've been able to learn a lot of things regarding maintenance of plants and also improve on my plants knowledge. The work may sometimes get tough (especially with the NEA always on our asses) but i enjoy what i do. And every other day, i always get to bring home something; riped fruits like Bananas, Jambu Air, Mangoes, and extra/ balance foods made by at-Sunrice like bread and chocolate, and sometimes when there's an event, there will always be extra food that's not finished, and its our job to finish them....hehe..

So i was able to take a half-day's off yesterday and went to JB... I was quite disappointed i didn't get to shop, like i had planned, but its ok, i'll go shopping BY MYSELF the next time.... Mama got a call this morning that said that her mother, my Granny, has been hospitalised at NUH this morning. My parents immediately rushed in to Singapore to see her. When they came back, we were told that she's now on drips and i feel so depressed and worried now. My Grandpa may not look like he's worried but i know he is. I think i'll go visit her tomorrow after work, if there's time.

The only thing i need right now to perk me up is some chocolate.

OMG OMG OMG!!! I stilll can't believe it!!! I can't believe i went to the Seoul'd Out concert!!! I can't believe I was able to see FT Island and BEG perform right in front of me!!! *screamingly happy...* I mean seriously man!! WOW.

I was so happy to get the entry passes from a friend of mine, and I really couldn't stop smiling yesterday! I finished work earlier yesterday, took a quick shower, changed and went to the concert... and man oh man, do I feel lucky for getting the passes because the queue was SUPER-LONG! I got into the area at around 0630, got a good seating and the show started at around 0745hrs?? Started off with some traditional Korean musicals, a cute-yet-funny Drawing Show, the oh-so-awesome dancing from the Jinjo Crew and then singers started to come out.....

First off was Park Shinae and Mario and oh do they look good! They sang 2 OSTs from My Girl, and 2 English songs, Kiss me thru the phone and Umbrella, which started to turn the crowd crazy when the crowd joined in the singing....hahahaha (of course I did too....hehe).... and Mario was soo cute!!! He kinda reminds me of se7en.... then Lee Ji Su was up... Though i didn't know him, i knew some of his songs and he's like sooooo cute!!! Especially when he tried to speak English (which turned out bad but funnily cute) and when he did that heart-shape thing with this hands..... haiz.... and the highlights are finally up!! T-Max was on first!!! *kyaaaaaaaa* Kim Jun was SO CUTE!!! They sang 3 songs, INCLUDING PARADISE (the whole crowd literally sang along with them!! lol) and did an encore..... God, the night wasn't over yet....

When FT Island was up next, the crowd went crazy and wild man!!! And Jonghun and Seunghyun were soooooo cute!!!!!!!! I have to admit i couldn't take my eyes off them!! I was happy when they sang I Hope!! The crowd even sang along with them! *At this point of time, i was super-hyped up, i didn't feel tired at all!* They also did an encore and the crowd was like super-happy because the song they sang for encore was Lovesick! LOL

And the highlight for the night....*drumroll please*... B....E...G!!!!!! Wuuuhhhoooooo!!!! I was like seriously screaming my head off!!! Like serious!!!! For a moment, i can't believe that I am watching BrownEyedGirls performing LIVE right in front of me!!! The crowd now is even more crazy and wild and screaming all over because of BEG!! Their first number was Sign, which got the crowd going (and singing too)...then they sang You Raised Me Up and L.O.V.E and as usual that heart-sign thing really got the crowd even more excited..... their final number was,.....drumroll................. Abracadabra!!! Wuuhhoooooo!!! The last song, last performance, the crowd was still going strong! They sang along directly to the lyrics, (even those in Korean!) and followed the ever-popular dance in the song that involves some sexy butt-swinging and boy, did everyone really do it!!! (I danced to it to......heehee). Especially when Ga-in did it, she looked super-sexy man!! The crowd cheered even louder when it came to her! And we really didn't expect that BEG too would do an encore when the crowd asked for it!! Hahahahahaha.............

And that was one of the most happiest, most happening night i had ever had!!
I am so happy. I almost lost my voice due to the whole night of screaming, I had leg cramps on the way back, I was all sweaty from being in the crowd, but I was thrilled and SUPER-HAPPPY and SUPER-HYPED to be able to watch that performance!!!!!!

All it took was a confrontation from a person, whom I'm not even close with, to make me realise all my wrongdoings. I've realised that my parents have been trying to talk to me about it and wanted me to change but I didn't heed their advice.

I was told I have a very bad attitude towards others and sometimes, whatever I say may hurt others, and all these are done by me unconsciously. There may be words that I've said that may be harsh and hurtful but truthfully, I really don't mean it. To everyone to whom I've hurt with hurtful words, i'm really truly sorry. From the botttom of my heart, I am really sorry for all the mean things that I may have said.

When I told Mama that someone confronted me about my really bad attitude, she said she had waited a long time for someone to come up and confront me about it. I've been doing this time and again while not realising it, because it is something which i have inherited. A behaviour that I have inherited from Papa. A type of behaviour where one would unconsciously say mean and hurtful things unconsciously, though we really don't mean it, and in the end, unconsciously hurting others. Which is also the reason how i got this garang character.

I was shocked to really hear this from Mama and i cried. I cried because I felt embarrassed that all this time, i've hurt so many people without realising it. I'm embarrassed because its true to what people say about how a person's personality reflects on how they are brought up by their family. I'm embarrassed because I didn't realise I've said so many mean things to others; my own family, my close friends, my colleagues.

It took me a while to absorb everything, but I've come to terms and made a conclusion. It's time for me to change. It's not going to be easy and I apologise for the next time I say mean things, but I'm really going to try my best to change. I will become a better person.

I think i'm having a slight headache because my head feels so heavy and i felt so sleepy during work.... I am already stressed out that we might not be able to get all the planting beds done on time, i really hope i don't get more problems on top of this.... I've already told the office that i'm going to take leave next Monday... So that means i can go to JB on Saturday night right after work.... Yay!

So anway, my skin is like really bad now... I am like super dark now with uneven tanlines... i've got a super obvious tanline on both my arms and my nose bridge(thanx to my spectacles..).....Even my face and neck colour don't match... I so need an SKII mask a.s.a.p....

I am starting to get really stressed about work... I am already rushing through to prepare the subsoil drainage for a lot of the planting holes since the soil is in a bad condition, event day for that site is next Saturday, which is less than 10 days away and we are still far from ready... I don't know whether to say the weather is on our side or not, but the workers don't like to work under the rain..... I hope to get my boots this weekend, so that i can join in the muddy works...

I admit i am learning a lot in my job... I'm still improving my plant ID, i got to learn how to make subsoil drainage, learn how to manage and supervise workers.... I am still trying to overcome my fear of creepy crawlies creeping all over me..... I pray everyday that there will not be any uprooting of any of the huge, tall trees, or I'll have a lot more work than i already have.....

Sometimes its hard when your mind says one thing and your heart says another... i had that problem..... I know a lot of people will say "Just follow your heart", but for me, i tend to do that, and it always doesn't turn out the way i want it...... But at the same time, saying No to the heart can be hard and regretful....and in the end, i'll only end up being indecisive....

sometimes you make me want to say 'i miss you'...

My Daddy's finally back from Brazil yesterday morning, but too bad i couldn't go fetch home because of work.... so as soon as i reached home, i gave him a long-big-welcome-home-hug.... I've missed him so much.... He then showed me that he bought for me this skirt which was tie-dyed and was kind of cute..... and he also bought for me soft nougats which were to die for! I mean they're a lot, but because i love it so much, i just can't help but have it all to myself.... hehe.

I was kind of disappointed that Mama wanted to go back to JB that night itself... I thought we could have more family time together and maybe go see the Christmas lights in Orchard or something.... it has been a while since we've done that as a family...... I'm really glad Papa's back safe and sound..

So work today was alright.... We managed to find a drain that can be used to create subsoil drainage at two of the flowerbeds..... I was quite happy with that.... One less problem to tackle, but still more to solve......

It was funny when i was on my way home just now... When i was walking towards Park mall, it just started drizzling... It was just a light drizzle, but then when i came out of Park Mall, it was a heavy downpour! It totally shocked me...and because of this 20-minute-downpour, i was soaked, bottom down... i was glad i wore shorts and long-sleeved hoodie at that time.... haha.

Still need to get: Still-toe boots, shorts, short skirt....

I got to shop at Orchard today! Like finally after so long, it feels great to go shopping... and it feels even better to know that i am spending using my own hard-earned money... I headed for OrchardCentral right after work... I just felt like buying for myself a dress... I got into this shop called The Trunkshop and tried on many different dresses, and the one that caught my eye was this black tube jumper that just looks so adorable i had to buy it... and i think it really doesnt make me look fat......hee. I think i'm going to buy this other dress that i saw at another shop the next time i go to OrchardCentral....and also to taste a piece of one of those good-looking fruit/chocolate pies......

I walked around for a while, then met up with my brothers at Lucky Plaza where i treated them to Pizza Hut for dinner.... we walked around for a while... They then suggested to go watch a midnight movie, but i thought it was getting late, plus i'm working tomorrow..... so they just went ahead without me..... I was already half-awake on the way home, so i think it would be a waste it i had followed them.....

Yay, Papa's coming home this coming Monday! I can't wait because i miss him so much!

I had wanted to get a touchscreen handphone last night but i couldn't decide which to get... So met with Jannah at City Hall, where then headed for ION for a while looking at handphones at the SingTel Shop, then we quickly headed for Holland Village for dinner... We initially wanted to have dinner at 3 Monkeys, but the seats inside were all full, so we then decided to eat at Essential Brew.... and we got to sit on the upper floor where dining is seated Japanese-style...with you know, cushions and low tables, we eat with our legs folded and having a more relaxing atmosphere... it was just so cozy..... Lucky for us it wasn't packed last night.

For starters, we had baby potatoes which i think was sauteed. Then both of us had pastas, but of different kinds; for drinks, i had this warm floral tea called Berries of the Forest, which i thought was just heavenly, and Jannah had a Cranberry Lustre, which was a cold mix of cranberry juice and oolong tea, and that too gave us a head-in-the-clouds effect.... Since both of us ordered dinner set, we were able to share a dessert together and we had this apple crumble with green tea cream on it... and i totally cleaned the plate off.... the apples were only cut and caramelized and had the crumbles baked on top, then there's a spread of green tea cream on it which topped it all off like a cherry-on-top.... EB is so going to be my second favourite chill-spot ever........first is 3 Monkeys...hehe...

I want to go to Essential Brew again!

Went for dinner with 3 of my fellow colleagues, who has become my new group of gossip-cum-makan-kakis...oh and by the way, they're all guys.... it was kinda nice though having this kind of get-together with us landscape contractors.....

So 2 lorries of grass came in this morning for the Fort Green re-turfing site, the old grass at Stamford Green has already been excavated and levelled, so all workers were deployed to do grass-planting the whole day just now.... wow... Horticulture talk is so cool.....hee.

Recently, there has been a lot on my mind. My taking-over the maintenance in FCP... Polishing up my plant identification... Realization of a certain emotion... Management of a certain group of people... Wondering if the newly planted grass is badly affected by the super-heavy rain earlier...

i'm so sorry but i love you.

I'm not sure how to say or describe it, but deep inside me, i feel.....sad. And this feeling is like....
Ok, you know how sometimes you feel like someone's watching you but you can't find that person? And you really can't shake that feeling off? That's how I'm feeling right now... There's like this hidden emotion inside, that i don't know how to describe, that somehow wants to burst out....

I just don't feel happy today. It's a different kind of sadness from me missing my Dad. This 'emotion' is like making me feel like I'm going to be missing something, and it's driving me nuts..

Life update...

-I miss my Daddy a lot! He's been away in Brazil for 20 days now.
-Mummy super-misses him too.... she's in the crying stage now...

-I'm gonna take-over my Supervisor's position soon in Fort Canning... Too fast don't you think.... I'm going to have to absorb as much as he can teach me about the going-ons in Fort Canning before he gets transferred out....
-I'm going to be handling a big project already next month.... which i'm real nervous about..
-Now, i've already got a project that has got limited vehicle and machinery access... If i'm not careful, i might get fined....

-I think i've lost a bit of weight... (i want to lose more....hehe)
-I've gotten darker...which is inevitable, duh....
-I'll try to give this job a year and see how it goes....

...and there are certain things, or should i say emotions, that has been bothering me.... It's confusing me and keeping my mind distracted from work.....

Just got back from work and is feeling really tired... I wanted to put this in before i forget...

Is it just me or are there a lot more of those cool posh cars on the roads?? I mean has anyone been paying attention to the roads? Ever since i started work a week ago, I've been seeing them a lot.... I love to see posh cars on the roads and have been admiring them since. So recently, when i go back home from work, after this past week, I've realized there's been a lot of these cars on the roads??

Minis, Lamborghinis, Audis etc etc.... super jealous much....

Has the COE gone down so much that people have started buying them? Or are Singaporeans now richer and can afford such cars as if they're toys? Or is it a trend to have a posh car? I mean seriously if its like that, i'd want one too! The easiest way? Marry a rich man's son and get him to get me an Audi S4 as one of the 'hantaran'... heeheehee......

So in regards to work, i've got advice from the officers and also my supervisor saying i have to be more rugged... which includes overcoming my ew-ing over insects.... But i mean who can take it man! Firstly, i'm just the typical girl who doesn't like insects on any part of her body, let alone getting those big red ants swarming all over you... not to mention the mosquitos which are like super irritating lah!!! Secondly, i can't take that spine-chilling, disgusting feeling of any insect or tiny creature biting my skin! From which can become itchy and super swollen.. imagine that all over my body man!

I know. I have to overcome it. I have to in order to keep this job. I have to in order to still enjoy working there.

Went to Dian's place for Raya...pathetic, only i came.... can't that other person... then both me and Dian went to Shahida's place for hari Raya open house... Can find our pretty photos at Facebook.... tho the photos would have looked better if Sue came...

Work has been hectic these past 2 days... we were rushing to re-turf Fort Green because there's a function coming up.... plus maintenance for the other areas in the park has been accumulating.... i think tomorrow is going to be an even busy day....

But i did get to see/experience some amazing stuff.....
- see one of my workers climb on the tree to prune *cool stuff!! he climb like monkey sia!*

- cutting down trees was actually kind of cool too! *the trees were either struck by lightning or virus infected until very bad..im not saying its good lah... SAVE THE TREES....BE A TREE HUGGER!* hahahaha

- 'watch' a couple 'memotek' in public, broad-daylight! *they were like lying down and kissing like nobody business lah! even my workers got a bit distracted!*

- i get to walk around, up and down, all around the park *i SERIOUSLY hope to lose weight by working here..*

- and i finally realise supervising work and workers is hard *must have good time mgt and prioritize work properly

- oh, i got sunburn on my face already, i've been sick the past 3 days but still go work, and the workers are so adorable lah! *they quite small-bodied, but they very strong sia*

what i have learnt: never underestimate small-bodied people. hee.

First day of work.

It was okay. It was kind of slack for a first day. I realized that my first day of work is also the day the officers in Fort Canning have small gathering-cum-Hari Raya- lunch...

I was actually quite nervous as to what kind of work i was going to do. As soon as i reached, called up the officer in charge of myself. He then picked me up in a buggy and showed me around for a while. He told em there's nothing to be nervous about and that everything in the park moves in a slow pace. I was already annoyed that i couldn't go to the F1 concert that was held there, and they kept 'showing off' about seeing certain artists off-stage and all.... Haiz......

Anyway, at first I thought that Fort Canning was big, but its actually not that big. It's just hilly. But i have to say it was a really cooling park. But word from one of supervisors, if there's like any concert there, staffs can actually watch it for free! Hahahaha... "ticket-daun" Because you, staffs have to 'handle certain administration stuff' if there's lack of manpower.

I'm still getting the hang of things there, so pray for me that it'll go well for me....

Hehe.... So sorry people.... I havent been able to get close to any computer the past month so i wasn't able to update my blog, nor being able to check my email and Facebook......

But firstly, thanks everyone for their best wishes for my birthday... My family and i didnt really celebrate it, but we did have a small barbeque-cum-get-together there with some neighbours at JB.... I really feel bad about not being able to invite my friends but it was really last minute.... On the other hand, i did get to exchange gifts with my uncle whose birthday is the day after mine.... I got him a long-sleeve stripes shirt and a thumbdrive, while he got me a Baby Blue BabyG watch.....

Anyway, what happened this morning is that my family just sent my first brother to NS.... he was appointed to the SCDF and we sent him for the enlistment this morning.... I don't know if i should call it a sad occasion because i didnt really feel sad nor happy about it.... but for those who know me, as in know me know me, obviously they know i took the chance to 'look around' the place.....heehee....

okay.....i know, my blog is dead... Heehee... So when was my last post? About 2 months ago was it?

Okay okay.... Ever since i moved to JB, i haven't been updating my blog... Sorry lah... I didn't always have my laptop with me plus it's kinda hard for me to get WIFI there....

So what has been going on with me?? I am still in the process of finding myself a job, my family's still trying to find a house in Singapore, i am going crazy over everything korean, i am still single (unsurprisingly) and i am still the same old me..... oh, and I've been thinking of cutting my hair.... I know i kinda swore that i won't cut my hair in the next few years, but i have to because my hair is having a crisis.... and the only solution is for me to cut back short.... so people, be prepared to see me with short hair the next time you see me.....hehe

Fasting month is coming up... this month! Before my birthday! For the first time in my life...
But i'm probably not going to celebrate because i just don't feel like it...

Hahahahha....I just realised that everything that i've talking about here is like so random....

......Not really in the mood to post in the blog, but i have to at least update it right.... So i have been taking care of my grandaunt's new house in Malaysia for about 3 weeks now with my Mum...haven't been able to conference with the bimbos in a long time, haven't gone to town yet and i haven yet to get a job.... i feel so pathetic.....

To the people whom i owe money, there only 2 actually, don't worry, i won't forget them... i always take responsibility for anything i've done, or owe.......

Disappointed that none of the shops or companies, that i applied for job to, called or replied back my emails.... Missed the feeling of going to school and have been having the idea of furthering my studies....Have not applied to any university yet, but hope to do so soon...

wow. My blog is starting to get dusty. Heehee.. I know, i havent updated about the graduation ceremony.... Oh well.... It went really well... It felt nice that the families of us 5 bestfriends got to know each other at our graduation ceremony....Hahaha.... kinda ironic... I wore my brown long-sleeved shirt with long black pants.... nothing too uncommon... Came with my parents and my youngest bro... Met up with the rest at LT68D... I just want to say it was just good to see everyone again.... Lucky for the 5 of us, we were able to sit together at the CC.... just waiting for the ceremony to start was like crazy.... well, what can you expect from the 5 of us right? I was quite nervous going up on stage (cant remember if my legs went jelly or not) but i think HLM rocks.. hahaha.. I mean we literally stood up and applauded loudly for the HLM prize winners lah...hahaha... But what was most fun and memorable was after the ceremony.... all of us took a lot of photos together, and even with our families.... too bad we didnt get to eat a lot at the reception (i was really hungry you know!) but at least we took a lot of photos..... :)

i will definitely miss you guys....

Let me tell you what's recently been happening to me...

I had been sick from last Monday and today i still feel a little giddy.... The first 3 days was like hell. My head felt weird and there was fever. Plus i couldnt walk because when i walk, it felt i was on a roller coater or something.... I literally couldnt eat at all..... I'm serious. And when the fever was gone, the headache got worse and now i gt cough. WOW. I seriously felt like killing myself.

Next time sharina, don't even ask how it feels to get sick. I have such a 'salty-mouth'.....

Anyway, i just collected my graduation gown just now, plus an extra invitation card for the graduation ceremony because i want my grandma to come see it.. since she's the one who has been taking care of me while i was in Poly throughout the 3 years.......

My current condition now: fever gone, still a little giddy when walking, appetite to eat has improved, i think i lost a bit of weight from not eating for a week....heehee

Hey hey...... i know i haven't been updating my blog... well, i went straight back home in JB and has been staying there since..... Its kind of hard to get internet access at my area so i usually have to go to a cafe to get it.... plus knowing my laptop, which is already lagging, its hard to do a lot of things at once.. i want to upload photos from the prom, update my blog, check my email, check my Facebook..... haiz....

Speaking of prom, i thought our prom was great wasn't it? Great to see that most of the HLM people came....and we were like 'conquering' the whole prom lah! Hahahahaha... Winners to the table games were mostly from our course, including both Prom King and Prom Queen!! Hahahahaahahaha...... I am still waiting for Sue to upload her share of the photos from her cammie.....

So anyway, i have a couch potato ever since i stayed at my JB house...hahahhahaha....a lot of things happened.... Family conflicts are still there...

I am, however, looking forward to the Sentosa trip with the HLM people... yay..... I didnt really get to say goodbye properly to a lot of them.... this time, i really want to take a lot of photos with YOU people..... and also my girls.... will totally miss them.... No, i already am missing them.... haiz....

WOW. WOW. Today was the big day. Like WOW. Because of this big day, a lot of us didnt get to sleep a wink last night.... I have to say from the presentation that our group did today and the comments we got, i'm glad we chiong through the night to get the project done man! And i think we even spent 80% of our last days of school, together in school till late at night....hahahaha...

I crashed at Sue's place last night because we needed to get a lot of things done. After getting out of the school at 11.45pm last night, went to my place first to get my stuff for the next day, then immediately rushed to get the last bus to Sue's place.... We really didnt get a wink of sleep last night.... I don't think we even felt like sleeping with Khairul and Shahida screaming at our ears to get it all done... *Thanx Sue for letting me crash at your place... glad i did it even... at least i did get to crash at one of my friend's place during a school day...heehee*

So right when we reach school, we got all our last minute things done, printed and pasted... There were a lot more things, more better things, that we had wanted to prepare, but i'm glad we got it through even with the things that we have prepared... But seriously, i thought our presentation was not that bad....

GOOD JOB HB SQUAD!!! I AM PROUD OF US!!

I don't actually know what or how i'm supposed to feel right now... i don't know if i should feel glad that school's over... i don't know if i should feel sad because i might not be able to meet my friends anymore.... Everything is like happening so fast... I mean it just feels like i just recently entered Poly and here i am about to graduate.... like WOW.

A lot has been happening... sorry for the late update..... Plus i have been occupying myself with preparation of FYP presentation which was last Friday, Project Mgt test just now, preparation for LD presentation this coming Friday and at the same time, try to survive through this f***ing painful stomachache and fever without fainting or vomiting.....

Yeahh.... a lot has happened and that's not even half of it....

So let me start with what happened last Friday.... FYP presentation was....hahahahaha... i got no word to describe it... we were a few minutes late because we had some printing problems but i thought our presentation was okay.... Both lecturers pointed out that we got a lot of missing points, but that's our mistake because we were really rushing through it........

Regarding the current progress with the LD presentation, i 'm not even sure if we are lagging behind.... the other group is done with their scaled model and their powerpoint was said to be a WOW...... Us? 90% of the drawings are done and the model is about 70% done... that's all i can say about my group.... heehee...

Anything happened to me? Well, i havent been contacting that guy and i don't want to.... even if it kills me... why should i be the one contacting him when he should be the one trying to contact me? Like wtf lah..... That aside, i am now having one of the worst stomachaches in my life... the pain is like so unbearable that it can make me say out all the vulgarities in one go.....*nods* I feel like vomiting but i cant, i wanna shit but i can't... Does anyone want to exchange their stomach with mine?? Arghhhh...........

I haven't even started studying for the 2 papers next week! I havent even gone shopping for the prom night!! Waaaahhhh........

So anyway, went to Malacca during the weekend with my parents... Just the 3 of us.... My bros didnt want to go, so i got the whole back seat to myself....hahahaha..... So we set off at noon on Saturday where we then reached Malacca at around 3pm... fuuu.... the place is like really packed with tourists lah!! wow.....The red buildings were like really so vintage man....and i was actually very keen on visiting one of the shops where they sold like REALLY BEAUTIFUL KEBAYAS!! Nyonya kebayas ok!!! Like so..... WOW......... I so want to wear one for Hari Raya this year.....

We didnt really shop much, but we did explore to a lot of places by car and ate a lot... and literally a lot.... It wasnt my idea, i swear... It was Mummy... She kept feelings hungry when all she did was either play Sudoku or listen to the MP3 in the car.... Hahahahahahaaa.......

Some of the things i bought were an Onyx bangle, cute keychains for my girls, a lanyard for my handphone and well.... a lot of sweets and chocolate and those little goodies for myself..... hehehehehee........

Haiz....Just got back from a little shopping and dinner with my family... it has been a long time since we had dinner outside with all 5 of us together.... and its was great.... We also did a little shopping which was really nice..... and i also realised that it has been a while since i stepped into Orchard Rd.... i mean we have been reallly busy with our projects and other stuff that we haven't gone to Orchard Rd in a while..... But i think there will be a shooping spree soon for me and the girls.... I mean we are going to shop for prom together... hehehehehee...... Can't wait!!

And i think i really am someone who gives their heart out to others easily.... It might also be because i don't have many guy friends, so i'm not really good with communicating with guys.... haiz....... i got all the symptoms of a girl who HOPES for that something... and i just don't realise it.... Maybe i should try being evil for once.... hmmm.... i wonder how that feels...

I think i just had one of the most overwhelming experience ever just now...

After meeting up with the girls to do some Hort E. calculations, i met up with a former colleague-and-friend from my attachment company... She called me up earlier saying if we could meet up... I thought that we were going to catch up on things and go for dinner or something... But instead, she brought me to this Business Preview seminar... I'm still confused as to what it was all about, because i was totally clueless... If you were there, you'd know what i'm talking about...

The seminar was about how to properly start your own business, the proper steps to achieving your goals and how you can get your 100 dreams come true.... Know what i'm talking about? No? Me too.... But what was overwhelming was that the people who gave their talks and speeches just now were millionaires... and they were as young as 24 year old! I was really shocked when my friend told me that she knew him personally and that he's 24 and he's already a millionaire..... If i'm not wrong, the seminar just now was mostly something about marketing... something to do with Amway and Network 21 system...

Anyway, back to the point.. I was really overwhelmed by the fact that most of the people who came to the seminar knew each other and most of them are millionaires... You can actually feel the difference in the atmosphere of that room... omg lah.... I felt almost suffocated yet overwhelmed at the same time.... I mean firstly, i don't know anyone who are millionaires, secondly, i have not been surrounded by millionaires before, and thirdly, i talked to one just now.....

All i can say.......................cool.

I so am going to Cold Rock and also Thai Express again!!! Cold Rock has got really nice ice-cream!!! I want to eat it again!! And Thai Express is so damn nice lah!! Love it that its got a lot of spicy food!

Anyway, today i got 2 reports done. One was the LPM guided walk which was like okay... i go the report done last night, so i'm going to hand it in tomorrow.. another one was the PID Album.. Yay! I finally got it done and handed it in a CD to Dr Koh just now during class........i know there's still like a lot more to go, but at least 2 is done.............Yay me!!

I haven't been sms-ing him the past 2 days... well, even if i do, its not like he could reply... I really am tempted to sms to him... but i try not to.......
But from this i realised that i missed him.....

I'm glad i got to meet up with him for a while just now.. He messaged me at around 8am, which was the time he just got out of work, asking if we could meet up for breakfast... i agreed..... he picked me up and went to a cafe near my house.... He looked really exhausted from work....

We got to talk.. i didn't really expect him to come meet me because i know he was tired from work plus he said he was having headaches..... i told him that after today, the next time we get to meet might be in a month.... i mean he's busy with work and he's off days clash with my classes in school... as for me, i got tons of projects to finish, presentations to prepare and exams to study......

I really am confused about my feelings... everything is a blur.. It might be because i get along easily with others.... i don't know... We just got to know each other so its definite we're just friends..... but my reactions and behaviour might be stating otherwise.... Shahida, Mama, Ibu and even Abang Aizat has talked to me about the "mengharap" thing... i understand that and i will definitely take note of it.... I know these people care about me....

Mama was at my room last night.... she told me she knows how i feel because she has been there and i am exactly like her when she was in her younger days... she said she would feel sad if she were to see me heartbroken again.... then i told her that it might be her fault that i'm like this because i am exactly like her... we give our heart out to others easily........

Recently, i've been going crazy over this song ever since my cousin introduced it to me.. its Hanya Kau Yang Mampu by Aizat.... haiz.... I don't know why but the song keeps playing in my head the past few days...

Anyway, went to Thomson Rd just now to check up prices on the pebbles for our FYP.... it was all last minute... we really have got no time left.... so we have to do this ourselves..... then we headed for The Prata House for lunch.... took bus 166 towards Vivo, where the 4 of us parted... Sue and Dian went to Vivo first to do a project together, while i went with Shahida to HortPark to take pictures of plants for PID.... haiz... despite the cooling wind that we felt throughout the whole day, it was still so hot......

I think i really am going to miss lepak-ing with these girls... i mean we have fun together, we crack lame jokes together, we washed our eyes together, we get lost together, we cam-whored together, we went crazy together..... etc..... haiz.... really.... it was a really fun and exhilarating 3 years with these girls.....

I know it has been some time since i last blogged in.... heehee.... I have been using my last 2 weeks of holidays to try to finish up on my FYP project with the girls at the garden... we have mainly got everything planted... not all are according to plan, but we have to compromise since we area already lagging behind....

I have also been going in and out of JB the past 2 weeks... I would try to stay at my JB house as much as possible whenever i can.... Yes, its tiring going in and out, especially when you're taking the bus, but i would sacrifice anything just to be able to stay together with my family.... I just got back now and am like panicking for tomorrow's presentation.. haiz... what to do... all last minute work.... what to expect....

I hope i can still go back to my JB during the weekends, at lest for a night... I'm really starting to like staying there...

I have been staying at my house in JB since last Friday, and i just came back to Singapore this morning because i was meeting the girls to do some projects.... Don't know why but it feels like it's been so long since i last saw the girls.... Met up with them at around noon and did our project discussion at Canteen 2 since Sue was at Kismis... that's when i felt like i havent seen the girls in a long time.... hahahaha.... and we did a little discussion for the assignment 2 for WISP....

Anyways, about my house in JB... i think i'm happy with it... Mummy said she has tendered her resignation at that flower shop and wants to get a job where its nearer to home... I might not move in now since i got another 1 1/2 months of school, so i think i'll move right when exams finish.... then i'll get my Dad to get me a Malaysian prepaid card so that it would be cheaper when i call my friends... in conclusion, i'm happy that we finally got a house. Its not much, but its perfect for a family living a simple life...hee.

Don't even try to ask about my NAPFA.... obviously i did horribly and i don't care anymore...

So anyway.. i went back to Malaysia right after the last WSQ assessment at SBG... at first we got to the wrong venue, then we have to walk so far in to find the right location of the class.... i mean you cannot imagine how much my thighs were like aching from the previous day's run....... So i reached home at around 3++, packed my bag and went off to Jurong East interchange to take bus CW3 to Bukit Indah.... Reached my cousin's burger stall at around 8-9pm plus because it was peak hour, so the bus was kind of packed and slower.... met up with my parents there as well, and suddenly told me that we are going to go bowling with my cousin's family.....we all even got the same t-shirt to wear together... i'll post a picture of all of us at the bowling alley when i get the pics from my cousin.... we should go bowling again!! hahaha....

On Sunday morning, i started studying for horticultural engineering test which is today.... i practised doing some questions and all..... it was kind of hard since no one in my family knows anything about horticultural engineering... the nearest would be my dad who only knows about the different types of pipes.... helped Mummy and Aunt cook for Hari Raya till about 12am.... i couldn't take it anymore... i was so tired and my legs ached even more.... so i went to sleep... with only my youngest bro to help her....hahahaha.... sorry mum.

To tell the truth, i didnt really help much because i was mostly studying for the test...hehe. but i did help to dice the meat for sambal goreng pengantin......

Test just now was okay, but i'm not confident i'll get good marks... i havent been goood with math since secondary school and i'm just afrid i might fall behind because the rate that the lecturer id teaching is kinda fast... i just hope that i'll pass the test..... *fingers crossed*

i guess it's really not going to happen... i don't see it. But it's so hard to let go....

I am like currently totaly IN LOVE with this anime.... Gawd.... Okayy.. I think i just made myself sound like a total geek... hahahahahaha.... I'm now watching the second season week by week... Gets me so excited since the herione has finally turned into a vampire herself....

I don't know why, but i think this whole vampire thing is really interesting.. i mean, there's also the new movie Twilight which i so need to go watch..... its also about vampires and all... maybe there's just something about vampires that makes them so hot... seeing them suck blood from their victims' necks.....*sigh*

Oh....And can i request my friends to stop teasing me about that same thing?? I am totally not excited about anything....

Anyway, napfa was cancelled yesterday... hahahahaha.... it practically rained at about 4pm....hahahaha... so we all decided to go gym-ing..... since we didnt get to run our 2.4km at the track, i ran 2.4km in the gym instead... i wanted to know how long it takes if i really don't stop..... i realised i'd still not get an A.... definitely.... oh what the hell.. i don't care as long as i just pass can already....

I had a very tiring Saturday yesterday... Right after the assessment at Pasir Panjang Nursery, we headed for Vivo for lunch, then to Telok Blangah Hill Park... we missed out on taking photos at one of the key areas of the park... so me, the girls and along with Khairul, Chuen Yong and Wei Ping, went to the park together... since both of our groups are doing a collaboration on the model and that their group too needed to take more photos...

I reached home at around 5 plus and my eyes were already half closed when i walking home from MRT.... took a nap for about an hour or two before my mum sms-ed to meet at MRT because i am to follow her back to the Woodlands house to help her with the packing of some stuff for shifting...

when i was packing, i came across the mugs and plates that we used when we were still at the house in CCK... i really missed that house... i remember Mummy used to make for us 3 Milo every morning... i remember my room which was pink, with pink curtains, pink bedsheets and also pink-white wardrobe... haiz.....

We packed mostly the everyday stuff like utensils, cookery and cutlery into boxes... Dad, Uncle and my cousin came this morning to carry the stuff into the car to move it into the new house... Today is the first day we start to move things into our new house... I'm not sure yet when my things will be moved because i seriously have a lot of stuff....

Did i mention already that i am moving to a house JB? yes.... We finally got a house... and its in JB.... Its actually a walking distance to one of my cousin's house... I know everyone will be asking how i'll be going to school and the distance and all that... but i've thought about it... I don't really mind the distance... I mean, i've longed and prayed that we get our own house after 5 long years.... For 5 birthdays, i had only wished for 1 thing... and its finally coming true... So true that it's really hard for me to believe that we really have finally got our own house...

So when i'm having a house warming party, i want all my friends to come okay.... hee.

And we got back at around 8-9pm plus..... hahaha.... and surprisingly, there quite a number of people who also came to school on Sunday... i think they really have got no life to spend their day in school.... i mean seriously....hahaha....

So aniways, we did manage to get 90% of it done.... don't care already.... tomorrow meeting ealier before class to put in our opinions on the stereotype thing....... then i also need to confirm on the plants lists and come up with the conceptual design for LD...........aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

I know i haven't been updating my blog, because i have been really really REALLY busy... There's so many projects on hand, i don't even have time to check my email... But a lot of things have been happening the past few days....

Our LDIII + LPMGT project is Telok Blangah Hill Park... ohmygod lah.. the place is like so secluded can! Slopes here, long staircase there.... Then we also have to consider the preservation of the Alkaff Mansion.... haiz... Oh did i mention, we also have the HumanCom journal to do, the WISP stereotype on elderly project, our fyp at LSCT garden and also PID photo album....... fuuuu....

Anyway, me and the girls went for a campus run on Tuesday.. we thought maybe we should start preparing for our NAPFA...hahaha... since it has been like what? 2 years since i last ran, it was harder than i thought... I mean i wasnt even halfway and i was already breathless... okay maybe i was already like that since last time... my face was already as red as a watermelon and i wasnt even halfway.... then we went for orientation at GymWerks... hahaha... cool right?? hahaha.. We basically did a lot of leg training, like using the treadmill and bicycle...

In school now with the girls to do some projects.... then going gym again later... hahaha...i wanna train on arms and tummy next.... who knows i can maybe lose a kg or two in 2 gym sessions?? hahahahha... i know im just being self-delusional now....

oh oh, and to me, i think going to the gym is like killing 2 birds with 1 stone....hahahha... i can exercise as well as...hahha.....you know...... hahhahahaha....

I know i am not the only one in the whole wide world who is suffering, but a lot of times i ask myself, why is God trying to make me go through all this? Don't you think we have suffered enough? Don't we deserve something from being able to survive all this suffering all these years? Why are all these happening to me? Why do i have to go through them? What did i do to deserve them?

I know i may be selfish when i ask those questions. I admit to that.
I always tell myself di sebalik segalanya, ada Hikmahnya...
But when will it come? Am i happy the way i am?
Will there be a happy ending for us?

For so long we have suffered.. I have put up and tolerated so much, the feeling is like i've taken in a bomb and trying to prevent it from exploding out of me... Maybe it's part of my personality to care about others' first before myself. But i can't help it. I am already used to rather make others' happy, even if i'm not.. I didn't care of the consequences.

I have put up a brave front so many times because i don't really like to show others this weak side of me who wants to be cared. It's only when it's too much for me to take, is when tears will start to flow.

Life for me had and will never be a Cinderella story.
It's just too fictional to be happened to an ordinarily average girl like me.

Okay, today was like this. The lecturer opened the classroom, we all sat... 15mins later class was dismissed. Hahahhahaha... serious! Its because the notes weren't even ready at the Photocopy shop and since it was the first week of school, he just let us off!! Hahahahah.... We didnt even do anything...

Went to town for lunch with the girls...Had Ria Ayam Penyet at Lucky Plaza... Dian had to go off after that, so the 3 of us decided to watch a movie, that is House Bunny... Hahahhaha.... I have to say i didnt regret watching it at all...... we were laughing-our-heads-off during the entire movie!! Anna Faris playing the lead role, Shelly was the stereotype of a dumb blonde... She helped this nearly-broken-down sorority house back to shape by making the girls, well, popular.... Hahahha....... One part i liked the best was the voice she makes to remember other's names...hahahaha.... Everytime she does it, it would be hysterical! ............ Even Shahida who said that she didnt liked movies, didnt regret watching one with us.....

So, first day of school....well, technically it was our first day back to school for our final year in NP after what? 8 months away? I don't think we look like 3rd years even... haha.... i mean first day today, we had our i-think-we're-lost faces...hahahaha.... what to do...haiz....

First class of the day was WISP...not bad... no cute guys in our class, but the dominant number were guys.... the lecturer was nice.. I think we're going to get along just fine... Then was HumComm...Human Communication... ohmygod.... I am so sorry girls... We totally chose the most boring class ever... But i have a feeling we are going to get through this just as fine as we have for all our IS classes.....As i have sms-ed to MJ, the existence of the module itself was stupid...I mean they are really just making normal, simple, every day conversations, complication.... And its only the first class..... =.=

Tomorrow is going to be HOENG the whole day.... horticulture engineering....

It hasn't been confirmed yet, but im praying hard and as much as i can that we can negotiate and get a deal. I'm really psyched about this and it's been so long. Coming to 5 years. Just thinking about it is making me feel excited, but i don't want to get too excited. Getting my hopes too high up isn't good. I'll just get a heartbreak again. I just don't want history to repeat itself again.

Went to my cousin's place in JB early in the morning today with Mummy.. Took a nap, went to the market, made lunch and dinner then went home. Mummy just wanted to relax at my cousin's place because she feels more relaxed when she's there, rather than at that house.

And i can't believe that guy called my Mummy 'Mama'... I mean come on, we aren't related, i don't even like you, and senang-senang je panggil mak orang lain 'Mama'.. Who does he think he is? My Mummy's son-in-law? *chills up my spine* He's not even my type......

Fuuuu... Just got back from Malaysia.. My family and the cousins balik kampong to some of my granduncles' and grandaunts' houses for Hari Raya... And oh man, i am dead beat!!

Checked into Malaysia on Friday afternoon with family, stayed at cousin's house.. Balik kampong on Saturday morning with all of us fitted into 4 cars... i rode in one of my cousin's car with my lil bro... I think in total we only went to about 4-5 houses because my uncle has work in the evening shift, so we had to go back early.... But the day definitely wasnt over...

Both families decided to go for 2 rounds of bowling at Danga City Mall... But i didnt play, i was just too tired, but it was fun cheering for them and yay-ing to every strikes they made...hahahaha... It was already 11pm plus, and none of us were actually satisfied about going back home.. so we went for karaoke at this K-Box-like place.. i was surprised that the place was kinda packed, considering it was already late... we got ourselves this family-sized room for karaoke and started singing.... this time, i really sang my heart out by singing and screaming and clapping and dancing to all the songs that we were singing.... hahahahha.... i had so much fun that now i'm having a slight cough....ahahahahahhaa......

Oh and i forgot to mention that i ate A LOT when balik kampong... i mean ohmygod lah.... right when we got back to my cousin's place to rest for a while, i immediately headed straight for the toilet! and got in and out 3 times! The stomachache was bearable, but i just couldnt take another bite or look at anymore food, or i'll vomit.....

i am so tired.

Ok firstly, i want to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!! Maaf Zahir dan Batin.. Kalau terkasar bahasa, harap dimaafkan....

So, today has been 1 hectic day... I didnt really got much sleep the night before and i had to wake up early today since its Hari Raya... I always have to wake up early to help my mum with the cooking and cleaning up of the house. Everything basically has tobe done before the guys come back from the Hari Raya prayers at the mosque... Foods this year were the usual... Mummy's oh-so-delicious Sambal Goreng Pengantin, Ketupat, Sambal Ayam, Rendang Daging....Then there's the kueh-kueh.............Fuuuuuu.... You cannot imagine how full i am now....

You must be thinking im really tired because we went to a lot of houses right?? But sadly, no... I am already tired from all the helping around in the house, since all the cousins and relatives were cramped into this house...my grandparents' house... Plus, now most of us are like grown up already, some of us have to squeeze and some had to sit on the floor.... Hahahahaha.........

It was a long day..... I need to catch up on my sleep too.. But i must not miss Lara Croft: Tomb Raider showing on Ch 5 later!! Wahahahaha..................*squeels of a Lara Croft fan*

Oh yeah, if you're wondering what my family wore this year? We didnt buy any new ones, so we compromised by having each and every one of us wear a completely different colour and design.. Daddy wore yellow, Mummy wore pink, i wore red (then changed to black because i was already growing out of the costume, if you know what i mean), and my brothers wore black and green.... Hahahhaa......

Met up with Shahida for buka yesterday.. We decided to have our buka at a restaurant at Haji Lane, Al-Tazzag...Hehehehee.... We looked around first for other resaurants, but the others were either not nice, too expensive or not really our tastes......

It wasnt really fine dining, but it was nice.... we sat at a table near the roadside for dinner.... then both of us decided to have sheesha....Hee. I know some of my friends may not agree to this, but so what? I mean we live once, we have to at least try everything once... The first few puffs was hard, coughed a bit, but after that, it was smooth... I don't know how to say it really, its just...smooth....... i think i can really smoke....hahahahahha..... im crazy. I remember i was just holding the tube and about to take a puff, but i was already laughing like crazy because i was like so excited yet nervous at the same time..... But when it became smooth, it was niceee..............

I wanna go sheesha again!!! Who wants to follow me??? We go together ah!! Hahahaha....

Chiang Mai Trip
Day One
Met up with everyone at Changi Airport Terminal 2. Mummy, Daddy and Granny sent me off. The flight was okay. Smooth. Because all of us had to wake up early to meet up, I think everyone slept throughout the whole 2 1/2hr journey. We reached Chiang Mai International Airport at 11am Thai time (12pm Singapore time).

We were greeted by our tour guides and also this girl in their traditional costume or something who put jasmine garlands on us. We then went on board our means of transport, which was a coach; headed for our hotel, where we checked-in to our hotel rooms to put our bags down before heading for lunch. I got a triple-sharing room with Dian and Sue. Hee. Lunch was at this restaurant owned by one of our tour guides. We had 2 tour guides, Nok and Tong. They were very nice to us throughout the whole trip, and very friendly too. I am going to miss them. So anyway, after lunch, we headed for Tweechol Botanical Garden. It was 114 acres big and I have to say, the place was amazing. After taking a walk at this museum dedicated to the people who set up the Garden, whom were actually of royalty, we got to rent bicycles to go round the garden and take photos and such. There were a lot of sculptured bushes of different shapes, sizes and animals. The 3 of us, of course, took that opportunity to take lots and lots of photos with each other! We actually spent the whole day there, riding around the garden, exploring the different parts of it. We cycled so much I can still feel how much my butt still hurts from all that cycling. Hahahha. Since we still had some time before dinner, we headed to this supermarket which was near the restaurant, where all of us bought a lot of food stuff. Well, what to do? They were cheap!!! We all then had Khuntoke dinner, where just the appetizers alone made me full. I only like the sticky rice, which was like so sweet and nice. Hee. I should have had more of that. For the main course, all of us sat on the floor, the traditional kind and there was also a performance for us while we were eating. The performance was nice, except for this one part where there was a person wearing a white buffalo costume came out, kinda like lion dance. It totally creeped me out. Then he like suddenly came up to some of the girls, like rubbing against our arms, I was like totally really creeped out lah! Lucky it didn’t come to me, but it did go to Bel and Dian. Hahahahahaha. After that, we all headed back to our hotel, where we quickly took a walk at the shopping centre near the hotel to see if there was anything nice. We all slept kinda late. Our room ended up occupying 5 girls; Bel and Jiazhen slept over.

Day Two
I woke up early. Someone’s handphone rang too early. I am SO SORRY I WOKE UP EARLY. *trying to sound sarcastic* Headed for breakfast and then assembled at the lobby. We then headed for Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden. It was a long ride, but we were quite entertained by our tour guide Nok. Right when we arrived, we were greeted by a magnificent, breath-taking view of a beautiful mountain. Plus the air was cooling. The place itself was great. Lunch was at an Orchid Garden, but we were only there for lunch. After lunch, we headed to this temple which was located on top of a mountain. Fuuuuu. I don’t know if it was because of the after-rain or what, but the place was cooler. It had a nice air and we got to see a view of the whole of ChiangMai, okay maybe a third of it. We walked around the temple, ringing the bells that were hanging around the temple and taking photos together. We headed back to the hotel for a while before heading for dinner at another place. All of us got to light this huge lantern after dinner, which was said to bring away our bad luck. We then let it go, letting it float all the way into the dark sky, bringing along all our bad luck. On this second night, I requested that I sleep on the extra bed on my own because I didn’t really sleep well the previous night and I didn’t have much space sleeping near the wall beside Dian.

Day Three
We had to wake up earlier today and assemble at the lobby at 7.15am Thai time. We were going to Doi Inthanon (Mount Inthanon) today. Because it was a 2 ½ hr drive, almost all of us slept throughout the whole journey. Doi Inthanon was actually the highest mountain in Chiang Mai, so it’s definite it was going to be a long drive. When we reached the peak of the mountain, the air was so cold and foggy, that when all of us spoke, we could see the air when we breathe out. When I said it was cold, I meant that it was really cold. It reminded me of when I went to Australia. We took a lot of group photos too. We then had lunch at a waterfall not far from the peak of the mountain, but just thinking about going back down the meandering road was already making me feel dizzy and sick. The waterfall was spectacular and it was really nice to have our lunch there. Our tour guides played the guitar and sang for us as we sat and had our lunches. It was a really nice atmosphere and with our tour guides singing for us, they really made it into a nice picnic scene. Then it was another few hours’ drive to Chiang Mai University to see their facilities there. The drive downhill and towards Chiang Mai University was kind of smooth. All of us slept, including me. Hehee. After that, we headed back to our hotel to freshen up before going for dinner. But the girls, Jasclyn, Alisa and Khairul decided to go out as they saw this ice-cream place near the hotel. It was called iberry. I have to say the place was nice!! Real nice! The place is like a mix of Dempsey Hill plus Island Creamery because the place is like hidden but had a nice feel to it; and their ice-cream were made by their own people. I didn’t really get some because I didn’t feel too good; I was feeling dizzy, had a little stomachache and my feet were tired. Right when we got back to our room, I immediately took some panadol and a nap. Dinner was at the place where we had our first dinner, but this time with more varieties and quantity. Another reason why we ate there was because it was already near the Night Market and everyone was already psyched up to buy lots and lots of stuff. I didn’t really get to buy stuff the first hour of walking, but after that, I kept buying, and buying and buying stuff. I mean it’s not every day you get to just buy stuff at a whim without thinking through it. Thanks to Dian, we were able to get bargain for the good stuff. I mean seriously, she is like the bargaining queen. Basically I got to buy lots of stuff for myself and also for my family. I think I was a really tired but happy girl that night. When we got back to our hotel, we immediately had our baths and packed our stuff before going to bed. Fuuu, our bags were full I must say. We took our time to pack, eat and slept really late in the night. Most of us went back with another luggage or two in hand; full of the stuff we have bought. Now that’s what I call shopping.

Overall, the trip was fun. The trip was great. I got to appreciate the cultures of the people in Chiang Mai; I got to be more exposed to their language; I got to shop as much as I like; and the people were nice. Our tour guides were very nice as well. They were very friendly with us, shared jokes with us, talked and spoke to us like we were old buddies, showed us magic tricks, sang and played the guitar for us, and had fun. I am going to miss them. I won’t ever forget this whole trip. My first time in Chiang Mai, Thailand, was awesome.

Fuuu... 1st day of the fasting month. For some reason, today felt like it ended kinda fast.
Maybe its because i woke up late, or maybe its because i was on my laptop the whole day.

Oh well.

Anyway, the whole day, the only thing on my mind was actually the ChiangMai trip next week! Yay!! Its next week!! Wuuuhhoooooo!! I am so excited!! I mean it is my first time going to Thailand and all, and its with my friends. Heee. I was also preparing a list of things that i am bringing for this 4D3N trip. Just thinking about it is already getting me all excited. Hehehehe.

Don't really have much to say for today's post. But that's all there is to it today.

Went out with Massha and Jannah today.
They had planned to bring me have lunch at SOFRA, but for some reason, it was closed.
So we went all the way to Bussorah St and had late lunch at a Turkish restaurant.
They also gave me belated birthday presents. Love them and the presents. :)

Then decided to head for Ben&Jerry's at Dempsey Hill. Damn.
Rain didnt stop us from going there.
Ben&Jerry is Love.
We sat, took a lot of photos. Funny and crazy photos.
Got 'high' from having too much Ben&Jerrys.
Heee.

My first time at Dempsey Hill. Not bad. Hee. I don't mind having my date at Ben&Jerry's there. The place has a nice ambiance. And he has to spoil me. Heheheheee.

Woke up at 10am. Waited for a delivery of something for hours. It was a another huge teddybear for me and a small bouquet, compliments from dearest Mummy and Daddy. :)

Then headed for Causeway Point. Met up with Mummy, Aunty, Mummy's younger sis, and her son. Got a self-picked present from her and her husband. I chose this 2 t-shirts from OFG. Totally cute. Mummy made a reservation for 9 people at Seoul Garden. We have decided to celebrate my birthday with my Aunt's husband, Uncle Azhar. His birthday was 28 August. Bought for him a pink shirt and pink-purple tie. Hee.

Dinner was extreme. We were, of course, really full after that. I think the people working there sighed a relief when we were leaving, because we were in the restaurant for almost 2 hours. Hee.

Conclusion.
First birthday surprise from dearest girls was really nice. I love you girls!!
Big teddybear from dearest parents was LOVE. I LOVE MY MUMMY & DADDY.
Birthday celebration dinner with family and Aunty's family was full of contentment.
My tummy agrees with that. LOL

Its finally over!! My presentation is finally over!! Yay!!

I am still in class right now, watching the others having their presentation and at the same time giggling to myself non-stop because my turn is over!! Wuuuhhhoooooooooo!!!!!!!! I was like the second one to present can! At first, just going in front to set up my laptop was already making me nervous, and i could practically feel my heart beating hard and fast lah....

But lucky for me, Mr Saiful didnt ask questions that want to make me kill myself...the questions were okay, except for this one particular one that he asked which was about what the company plans to do. But on average i think i did okay. Hahaha...... and you cannot imagine how free i felt when i finished the whole presentation. The burden on my shoulders is off, i feel so much lighter now.... Haiz.....

Now waiting for Sue's turn to present. Pictures will be put up later. Haha.. I am actually wearing about the same outfit as Dian and Sue is well, imagine a non-lez Ellen DeGeneres.... Heee

Its finally over. 6 months have passed by. Not smoothly, but fast. Attachment is finally over and i can't stop smiling and giggling to myself. :) Right now staring at the computer, with an idiotic, pervertic smile on my face, thinking a lot has happened.

I can remember how sad i was the first week of attachment because Daddy just flew off to Nigeria for business stuff the previous weekend. There was also the Supervisor who was MIA during the first month and picks on every little thing i do. I can never understand him and i don't thing i want to. The rest of the Chinese and Bangladesh workers in the company were really nice. To them, i am like the small sister or 'xiao ku niang' in the company. I will miss them.

I won't forget how much i had to count the no. of plants in the nursery, and under the hot sun. Gave me uneven tan. Heee. I won't forget how nice the maintenance team were when i was attached to them for 3 days of hard labour. Thanks to them, and my Supervisor, i get to see big beautiful houses, and cars, that i could never imagine be in Singapore.

For all the hardwork, lectures, tears i've shed, sweat i've perspired, no matter how i hate them for the lectures they gave me, it had really been a great 6 months of attachment. It was a real eye-opener to the landscape and construction industry, and a real experience.

All of that, all that i have done, i still did not lose any weight, instead i gained some. wth. And i think my butt got bigger. Hee. I will, most definitely miss the Yummy-s i get to ride the bus with. Heheeeee....

But then when i see Yoon Eun Hye's new haircut, it makes me wonder why is it that when i was having short hair, it didn't look like that?? I mean, i love her new haircut!!

Lee Hyori's new haircut also like nice lah......haiz.... really, why didnt my hair become like that? idiotic hair.

Never mind..... i vowed i will keep long hair and i will..... I will have my long hair like when i just got into poly...... but this time my long hair is going to be all jet black..... Heehhee...Nice...

I am elated that this week is the last week of attachment. Yes, finally, it's over. But whatthehell? Everyone that i have heard from are like so relaxed in this last week, and here i am really caught up with so much work. So so much that i have to complete them before i go off by end of this week..... i feel so rushed right now..... Does that make sense? I have been asking that a lot today.....don't know why...

So anyway, schedule for the IAP presentation is out. Shocked the fats out of me. Its going to be on 25th Aug, which is next, next Monday. And guess what? I am going to be the 2nd to present.

......

I guess my salty mouth doesnt really work on me, but only on others....... Alright then...fine.... I will give my 110% to that presentation and get it over and done with!

I think the whole of next week you will see me talk to myself..... hahahha....preparing for the presentation and practising how to answer possible questions the panel of examiners might ask...... How scary.... I can't remember the last time i presented alone to others, let alone a crowd.....
I'm afraid i might stutter.

Oh ya, i watched the Olympics yesterday... the Mens swimming... omg... Michael Phelps is sooo good can!!! His butterfly strokes are so beautiful... I wanna learn to swim Butterfly too!!! His tactic is like predictable, but really charmed me.. I mean in his 400m IM, he starts off his butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke with average speed, but then at the last lap, he freestyled with such incredible speed that immediately made him the lead...... haiz... i'm just charmed.....

Firstly, i would just like to wish Singapore a Happy 43rd Birthday!!! YAAAYY!!!

I had just watched the National Day Parade on tv and i have to say this year was spectacular..... I really love it when the Black Knights made a stunning performance with their 'acrobatic' acts in the air.....Wooooo.... Especially when they made the Heart!! Nicee!!! The other part i loved about this year's NDP were the fireworks... It was really fantastic!!

Anyway, i just recently found out from my Dad that Singapore claimed independence a year after he was born... Because i was just thinking, my parents, who are of same age, are 44 this year, and Singapore is 43...so it means that my parents like grew up with Singapore! Cool huh!!! Hhaahahaha....

Sooo...went to watch a soccer match at CCK Stadium with Mummy and Daddy after work.. It was SAF Warriors VS Gombak United.........the game was not fun at all lah! I mean the players from Gombak keep getting hurt and falling down...like whatthehell?? Its like they are falling every 25 minutes...... they are so lembik lah.... The cheers too were a disappointment... Didnt really expect the cheers from both squads to be so lousy....*no offence*

Today was work as usual... Had to face that person like always...but its okay, i have another week to go....Jiayou sharina!!!

i hope too much for things to happen. and when it doesn't, i'll be sad. like always, it's going to be my fault in the first place for hoping too much. [And thanks Shahida, for clearing my doubts and confusion. Love you so much. Hehee.]

I really had a great weekend.....

Stayed over at Massha's place on Friday..... with Jannah too.... It was my first time sleeping over at a friend's place..... We went for dinner at Bukit Panjang Plaza.... Bumped into Baihakki Khaizan on the way back..... *he was really tall and cute bytheway...too bad he's married*..... We chatted, laughed, gossiped about guys and also watched a horror movie which wasnt really that scary..... Only slept at around 2-3am......

Woke up the next morning at 10.30am(which was just yesterday).....ordered Mac for breakfast... lazed around until the afternoon.... Started to get ready at 5pm to go for our secondary school musical at RP.... met up with the 2 guys in the bus on the way there..... and all five of us went together... Not many from our year came..... We saw and chatted with some of our juniors..... The musical wasnt so bad..... some parts were good, some parts werent....

The only thing i liked about last nite was that i got to spend time with my friends again.... the friends whom i have not contacted or gone out with for sooo long......
I'm glad i went to the musical with you girls..... I really had a great time....

Sooo.....reached back at Commonwealth house at around 8.30..... i had wanted to watch my all time favourite Initial D on ChU.....hahaha..... dearest Edison Chen was in it, obviously i had to watch it....teehee......

i really did have a great time..... :)

Haaaaaaaa....... I'm telling you my shoulders feel ssoooo verrryyyy light right now, i feel as if i could just flyyyyy..................

Hahahaha... yeah... I already informed my supervisor yesterday that i'll be coming in late because i want to hand in my report..... correction, my FINAL REPORT!! Wahahahahhaa....like finally..... the last report is over and done with!! Now, i'm like left with the IAP presentation in 2 weeks......

But right now, all i wanna do is rejoice!!!!! Final report is printed, binded and handed in!!! I think my jaws will be so tired by the end of the day because i cant stop smiling to myself....hehehe...

I went to school at around 9am this morning... went to the office to place the FINAL report into Dr Koh's pegion hole, then slowly took my time to go back to the nursery...... The feeling of finally handing in the FINAL report is like lifting so much weight off my shoulders lah...plus i have another 2 weeks of attachment!! Rejoice!!!! Hahahahahhaha....... This whole week has been stressful and my panda eyes have definitely become more obvious... i need my sleep.......

Aniway, i will be heading straight for Massha's house right after work... will be sleeping over or tonight... so that tomorrow we will have a lot of time preparing on what to wear for the event at night....hehehehe....

Oh.....what a hectic week..... I thought i could try to finish up the report during the weekend, but couldnt.... Had a brainblock...heheheh.... plus i was at my cousin's place in JB... how to concentrate??

I have only done like only 45% of the report; i haven't been to the Singapore Garden Festival, which is so frustrating me since everyone i know has been there already; i am upset i won't be going to the SingFest this weekend because i am saving up for ChiangMai trip; instead i'll be staying over at my sec sch girlfriend's place on Friday night (not confirmed) because we will be going to our sec sch musical at RP on Saturday night, and one of our friends will be giving us a ride there too, hehehe i can't wait (massha should know what i mean....lol)....

I'm looking forward to ending all this in 2 weeks, from which the big presentation will then come..... after dat.... ChiangMai trip!!! Yay!!!

I might be meeting Jane and Man Ling later to go to SGF later..... but i think even if i'm there, i don't think i can get my mind off the report.... I had planned to get it done by tonight, have it binded after work tomorrow, then hand it in on Thursday, but i think i'll have to delay by 1 day..... So i'll have to hand it in before 12pm on Friday.....

Weird... when attachment just started it felt like 6 months is soooo verryyyy far away, but now i have like another 2 weeks here.... happy much??

I want to go watch The Dark Knight!!!!!

I have always been a fan of Batman. I mean i grew up watching Batman with my brothers...... We have watched all the Batman film series; Batman (1989 film), Batman Returns (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), and even Batman Returns (2005)......
(i think i have just made myself look like a total geek who goes crazy over Batman..... oh whatthehell... i already am one...)

I'm not saying that i'm a nerd who goes goo-goo-gah-gah over this comic character, but if not for my Dad and brothers, i wouldn't have watched them man!! I have watched how much difference it makes when different actors played Batman in the different films... From Michael Keaton to Val Kilmer, to George Clooney and now Christian Bale.... My most favourite had to be George Clooney, obviously, and Christian Bale..... George Clooney is like soooo cute can...... how can anyone say no to that?? Christian Bale had to be the second most good-looking among them (first is obviously George Clooney..duh) and also the one with a hot bod..............hehehehehhe

Some other characters that i can remember are Chris O'Donnell who played Robin, Michelle Pfeiffer who played Catwoman, Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, Tommy Lee Jones as Two-face and also Jack Nicholson who played the Joker..........

I'm serious!! After reading the reviews on The Dark Knight, seeing the ratings given and also being someone who grew up watching Batman, I so want to go watch the movie!!!!

OHmyGod..... I have like finally realized how dumb i am....... aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh......... Logically, if you stare at someone, even if that someone doesn't realize that you're staring at him, the people surrounding that person or you might realize you're staring at that person right?? Yes, as usual, i have just made myself as obvious as before..... I have made the same mistake i have always been making my whole life...... haiz....... I was VERY VERY HAPPY to 'bump' into that cute person on the bus this morning on my way to work...... hehehehe.... that's why that thing happened...... i admit i am dumb, but not this dumb...... but what can i do?? Was over at my Uncle's place for a family gathering on Saturday..... It was also to celebrate his birthday. I have to say i had a sinfully good time there....hahahaha.... Because there was Laksa and Kacang Pool and there was also chocolate fondue!!! Wahahahahaha...... Me and my cousins were all practically surrounding the fondue machine the whole time lah!! Hahahahaha..... Dips present were strawberries, grapes, wafer sticks and not forgetting the most important ingredient, marshmallows!! I think i can still feel the chocolate in my mouth..... Yummm.....

Also on that very day, for the first time in my life, i felt like i wore like a girl.... Hehehe.... I was wearing this long checkered short-sleeved shirt, that i just bought, with black stockings and a white waistbelt.... Hehhehehee..... Since it was my first time wearing like that, it felt kinda bare, because although the stockings were opaque black, it still feels bare.... I think the girls would know what i mean...Hehehhe.... My mum said i should wear clothes like that more often, because it really makes me look more girly.... Not that im boasting but i have to agree with her,because a lot fo my clothes are t-shirts and jeans and sneakers all the time..... A little change can be good..................

Another 6 weeks left of attachment and i am patiently waiting for it to end. No, i am really looking forward to it.. I am looking forward to getting everything over and done with.

Work was okay today. It was quite busy in the morning, but it tide down when afternoon came...

Anyway, grandma accidentally spilled hot cooking oil on my right feet just now. I was lucky because the oil was only hot and not boiling, so the pain wasn't so painful. But it did made me recall of that time i burnt, also my right leg, against a hot motor exhaust. Now that was hot, and the sensation was even more than what i am feeling now....Hahahaha..... I can't imagine how i would react if it were hot boiling cooking oil.... I think i would stil be crying till now..... hahahahaha....

Oh ya, i can't wait for our dinner together next friday.... I hope everything will go smoothly and not one person will LAST MINUTE say cannot make it because i planned so much for us to meet and have dinner and spend time together...... Can't wait to see you girls soon!!

Went to watch Madu 3 and Bujang Lapok at Under the Banyan Tree at National Museum on Friday and Saturday with my family.... Surprisingly, a lot of people turned up to watch it.... It was kinda cool watching it under the stars and with a lot of other people and laughing together..... It give a nostalgic feeling and makes people appreciate more of the ever famous P.Ramlee who was a legend......haiz.....

Anyway, went out to Orchard with Sue just now.... it was a first time that we went out on a Sunday.....lol...... Accompanied her because she wanted to use the $10 voucher she got.... we were in the shop for a REALLY long time because SOMEONE couldnt make up her mind what to buy.... IN THE END, she bought this basket-weaved bag which was really nice and cheap..... well, to me everything was nice....hahahahaha....

then we went to Heeren, then to Cineleisure, then to Takashimaya and Wisma Atria and back at Wheelock Plc to lepak at Coffee Bean.... *sue, i realised we walked i big round....hahahahah*

About the previous post, i'm okay now.. Everything has been cleared. Don't worry.

So anyway, my family and i went to Sentosa for a picnic today to celebrate Fathers' Day as well as have some good family bonding time. It was fun. We took a lot of photos, ate a lot of food and people-watched a lot of people... ahahahaha.... There were quite a lot of families though having picnics, swimming in the sea and people tanning..... I actually thought maybe i could tan under the sun the even out my uneven tanlines, but in the end, i got more uneven tanlines......looks like i have to go tanning the next time...

Suddenly today i feel like time is moving so fast and we have so little time.....

SGF is going to be during the last week of July... I can definitely expect a lot of work during that week... the final report is due on 1st August and we have the IAP presentation the week after that... everything is going on so close together.... I still need to go shop for the presentation attire and get more info and photos from the company......

So to slow things down a bit.. I was just browsing through the websites of some of the well-recognised overseas universities, like the University of Queensland, University of Melbourne, Cornell University and University of Berkeley to name a few..... Then a thought came to mind, what am i exactly good at? Landscape Design? Horticulture? There is still the thought of whether or not i am even qualified for these universities.... I'm not even topping in any of the modules now.. I only get average grades like every other student.....Then there's the living and tuition costs, whether i can even afford it or not....... I feel so dumb when i think about it.....

I would of course be very happy if i were offered to attend any of these universities, but i don't know if i am able to work that hard in order to achieve it... I always feel like my most best effort is just a snap of a finger for other people. Whatever i may want to achieve so hard to get, its just a leap away for others....

I really feel so dumb.

I'm not trying to stand out, yet i want the attention..

Okayy... I think i am starting to get the hang of using Photoshop... Okay.. i admit i may be a tad bit slow but i tried my best... This is my first ever creation using some simple brushes i uploaded into Photoshop...

Is it okay?? Well, i love pink and i love flowers.... So i think its cute... reminds me of cherry blossoms...hehe... MJ! What you think?? I know i'm not as good as you or anybody else in Photoshop, but considering i did this all by myself, rate me on it.... hahahahahaha....

So anyway, starting tomorrow, i will be working at Science Centre on Saturday and Sunday for a few weeks for the company because they're selling plants there.... Surfed thru the NP website during break today and found out about the graduation for our seniors... It looks like for students in School of Life Sciences are scheduled to have their graduation ceremony tomorrow... It seems so fast.. It actually feels like as though it was just the other day i just entered NP and now, i am in my 3rd in NP and will be, i hope to, graduating next year... When i read thru what they had to do or wear stuff like that, it looks like its going to be fun graduating... sad but fun... Like they have to be in formal attire, renting or buying that robe, how to go up and down the stage... i don't know if i should say i am looking forward to graduating because i will definitely miss the friends i made during this short amount of time (i think 3 yrs is a short time)...

Anyway, it looks like i have another 11 or 12 weeks left of attachment! Yay! Then HELLO 7 weeks of holidays!! Wuuhooo!!

Actually now i am having a bad sore throat, to the extent of going to nearly lose my voice.. I lost my voice during my 1st year too that time, and also early this year when doing the LD project... when i think back to when the times i lost my voice, it was actually quite funny... i couldnt even project my voice out when i talk, and i could only talk in this chipmunk-like voice... ahahhahahaha... hey its not my fault.. i drank a lot of water and i still end up like that.. if i'm not the first time i lost my voice, i had COMT class with Dian, and when i had to intro myself, i couldnt say a word at all... i think Dian was laughed at me then... lol..... the 2nd time was during the process of finishing the the last LD project... i can't believe i was still able to present in front of that guy and the class with that voice... ahahahaha.. im glad nobody laughed... hehee...

Hahahaa... I just got back home.. I met up with Jannah after work.. Took bus 172, heading straight for JurongPoint to have dinner with her.

We decided to eat at KFC then walk around for a while there... I just don't know why i suddenly feel like buying something today... so in the end, i bought this pair of LIMITED EDITION pair of shorts from Fox... Jannah and I thought it was nice... at first she told herself she was going to buy the shorts the next time, but since i too was interested in it, i bought i first... ahahahahaha.... Plus, it was a limited edition... I don't think we will be able to find it on sale..... Anyway, its a first for me to buy something that's of limited edition...

The shorts is khaki-colored with gold printings and buttons........ There was also a pink and gold, and a black and gold, but they werent that nice... Too bad i can't wear it to work...

So by the end of today, i am a happy girl.

I was just checking my NP mail and was just browsing through the school website..... then i came across the part for graduates... then it reminded me that i am now having my 3rd year, my senior year in NP taking Diploma in Horticulture & Landscape Mgt...... I am going to graduate from NP.... I suddenly feel so old and sad at the same time..... I did and will miss the times i spent together with the new friends that i made coming to NP......

We've had our fun, we've suffered..... We've had our laughs, we've had our cries... We've made new friends along the way, We've learnt new things as we move.... We may not be able to stay together forever, but the memories of our times together will last forever.....

Let me see if i can recall back when i was in 1st and 2nd year in NP... (I got short-term memory.. sorry laa if i can't remember some events)... Hmmm...

I remember we had to go to Botanical Gdns every week for Dr Koh's lesson... Hahahha.. freakish weather too.... I remember me and the girls would then love to go lunch at Orchard and end up late for class.. hahaha..... Me and the girls we more or less the bunch who makes the most noise in our class.... I still had my long hair when i just came into NP (and i miss it)... We wore red for the day and took crazy photos..... We went to that smelly Senoko, there was also the trip to Pulau Ubin.... Then there was the KL (freakin tiring) trip..... We get to bring home the basil that we grew in Mr G's class.... I remember the first time i cried in front of my friends was because i couldnt do the Adobe Illustrator assignment.... We spent birthdays in school...... We had our SameSame shirt and took even crazier photos... Oh ya.... not forgetting my surprise haircut!!! hahahahaha... i won't ever forget that... We went dressed up at Dian's house and went to Mr Saiful's house wearing Baju Kurung.... Then i lost my voice twice! One was during COMT in 2nd year (recalling how embarrassing it was when i had to intro myself to the class with no voice... I remember Dian laughing at me when she could have helped me) and the other was during that LD presentation....... Hahahaha... I can't remember if we skipped any class or not..... but I won't forget how we used to look so 'kental' when we in our 1st year...hahahaha... There was then when i became the usher for the event at Clementi Woods and also a Student Councillor for the NP open house.....

Ok... i think that's all that i can remember.... forgive me for my short-term memory...

Okayy.... I won't be posting in of how i survived Day 2 and Day 3 for the planting maintenance because i don't want to remember what a nightmare it was....

But i will post in of how my night out to MOS went about.. wahahahahahha... Yes.. Nursharina Roslan has finally gone clubbing for the first time of her life.... I met up with my bestest Sec sch friend Jannah at her house.... There were some minor complications about the rest of the people who were supposed to go... but we didnt care already and jsut headed for MOS ourselves.... We entered at around 10.45pm... Actually the both of us nearly backed out when we were already right in front of the bouncer... Seriously, the bouncer did a good job of giving such an intimidating face to really scare me.... But he was nice enough to tell us we needed to show some ID.... Then we headed in... There werent many people yet so we just hanged around the bar area and got some drinks......

People started pouring in at midnight and the music too started to get to better beats....... I thought maybe i could do some guy-watchin... but unsuccessfully due to the darkness in the club.... Both of us then decided to go to the 2nd floor to maybe get a seat near the railings so that we could get a better view of the dancefloor, listen to the music and move to our own beat.....

We got out of the place at around 2am... Walked around Clarke Quay for an hour before deciding to head back..... *If you're wondering whether or not i drank and got drunk or anything, no worries... it maybe my first time clubbing, but i'm really the big drinker*

Day One..

My Supervisor has arranged for me to follow the planting maintenance team for 3 days to have some experience on planting maintenance... Whe i reached the office at exactly 8am, i thought they had already left, but lucky they have not... The team was made up of 7 workers including me.... The one in charge was this Auntie who was the one drving the lorry... *i tell you ah.. you cannot mess with this small-sized Auntie.. she maybe small, but she drives a huge lorry like nobody business and can get very scary when she's angry..* Today we went to 3 bungalows and a condo to d0 some planting maintenance.... You cannot believe how beatiful all the bungalows were... I mean, they were like A Dream Home, no, The Dream Home... There was one where i think the concept of the home was like a resort... and it really looked like one can... The swimming pool was like calling for me, the house was a magnificent L-shaped.. their koi pond made a terrific entrance too....

The workers were nice too... although i had difficulty talking to them, but in the end, i realise they were quite friendly.... they helped me a lot in the maintenance stuff.....

I also saw a lot of cute cars... I saw a Black BMW Z4, which was freakin HOT! I also saw a blue Mini Cooper S which was reali cute......

Today was definitely a very tiring day for me, but it REALLY BEATS BEING COOPED UP INSIDE THE OFFICE ALL DAY!!!!

It has been what? A week from my previous post? Here's what has been happening in my life the past week...

Went to Sentosa with my family on Sunday... Mummy told us that we should make it a point to at least spend some family time together at least once every week or 2 weeks, since i am working and not staying under the same roof as them.... So anyway.. we first headed to ride the Skyride and down the Luge... Mummy practically forced me to tag along with my brothers to go ride the Skyride and Luge.... At first i hesitated because the thought of going down some slippery slope might just kill me.... I thought it would be as scary as riding those scary rides in Escape Theme Park....... When me and my bros we on the skyride up, i could practically feel my heartbeat beat harder as we got higher and nearer to the end point, where we were going to ride the Luge...... I told my brothers to be in between me and to wait for me when we go down the Luge because knowing them, they LOVE TO SPEED....

But after going down the Luge, i realised it was SO FREAKIN FUN! Especially when you speed down and turn some sharp turns.... i mean seriously, it was really fun lah..... hahahahahahahahahahaha... i think i would have regretted it if i didnt go down the Luge and realise how fun it was...... hahahahahahah.....

We had dinner at Pizza Hut then headed for home respectively.... haiz.. it was a fun day...

I have just finished watching A Walk to Remember on Youtube... i know... i have watched that a lot already, but you know what, i will never get sick of it... And i will always tear up like a baby at the same parts of the movie....... I mean the movie is just so touching and inspiring.... I love it.....

I especially love the part where they spent time together as he tried to fulfill her ambitions, like being in 2 places at once and building a bigger telescope just for her...... My most favourite part was when they were dancing in her balcony.. it was totally romantic......haiz....

Anyway, i hope those having school are having as much fun as I do..... hahahahah....

Okay.. I met up with my bestest friend and ex-secondary schoolmate, Jannah right after work... Initially i called her because i was already desperate for someone to lend me their thumbdrive because i needed to print something for my report..... So i called her up and we met up at CoffeeBean&TeaLeaf at Holland V since we both live nearby.... I really missed this girl so much!! We were catching up on old times and updating each other of what has happened in our lives.... and we were so caught up i totally forgot to ask her to let me borrow her thumbdrive.... Hahahahahahah..... But i think us meeting up was all worth it... I mean, she asked me out twice and i turned her down, so i had to make up for it just now....

Jannah is still as skinny as ever.... But her bubbly personality is still the same as ever..... I am glad we met up.. after such a long time... We should meet again soon!! And cheer up.. Its not the end without him... Hahahahahaha...

Damn that overturned lorry this morning!!! Because of it i was late for work or the first time! But lucky me, my supervisor hasnt arrived yet himself... but i did apologise to another colleague who took charge of me for being late and im glad she pardoned me.... hehehhe....

So anyway, i have already printed out my report and photocopied an updated attendance sheet!! Yay! Whats left now is to get a folder and hand it in... I thought maybe i should ask for a half-day leave on Thursday so that i could go to school to hand it in.... Hmmm..

Met up with the girls right after work... Just the thought of meeting them after 1 month already excites me while i was on the way to meet them... We had dinner at Swensens at Bugis where we ate as we have our conversations of everything that has happened over the 1st month of attachment.... Seeing them again was really... haiz.... i am very happy...

While having dinner, we were, as usual, trying to be the noisiest among everyone in the already noisy restaurant... All of us had a main course and dessert right after, while was really fulling......

But, it was when we were parting, i don't know if the girls do feel this, but there is this small sad feeling inside of me that wants to make me cry.... I mean, the 5 of us are already so close and attached together, so we are used to having each other around since we're classmates and bestfriends, but then thinking that we have to go for our attachments really spoilt the mood..... Haiz...

i am going to miss you girls.....

This is random but i feel that the year when i am 18 is so short... Time flies so fast and i still want to enjoy being 18... Its not like i don't want to be 19, but knowing i am going to be 19 just makes me feel so.... i don't know... i mean the age 19 is the last time i am still a teen-ager.. Haiz...

So sorry people... I havent been able to update my blog... been really busy with attachment... but don't worry... I wont let my beloved blog become stagnant for 5 months.... i will blog in something.....

It has already been a month since attachment started huh.... i have to say the first month has been quite hectic... Trying to get used to the environment and people you don't know.... Hahahaha... I advise the person who is going to have their attachment next semester, at the place i am right now, to bring a hat and mosquito repellant... ahahahhaa..... no joking... really..

This is the current anime i'm watching... it called Kamichama Karin... I think i am already halfway... Its a shoujo anime, and not really my favourite genre, but i'm addicted to it because the characters are all so cute ne!!! The picture shows the main lead protagonists to the anime...

I havent seen a sky so blue for so long... I think the last time i really saw such a pretty blue sky was when i was in Australia, which was 5 years ago.... *aiyoo...why am i so emo??*

Hahahahah...so anyway, Daddy is ony his way back!! Yay!! Mummy told me he's already in Johannesburg and will reach Singapore at around 6am... I'm so looking forward to seeing him again!! I am so going to give him a BIG HUG when i see him!!! I'm not happy that i couldnt fetch him at the airport, but i think the least i could do is to give him the biggest hug ever right??
